Great songs...

I find myself humming to the song of Yesterday Once More this afternoon. With a sudden desire to listen to the song once more,I search it on youtube. Listening to Karen's voice really do sooth my wounds from this past few months, her voice so beautiful it made me cry. The song wasn't about break ups or broken hearts, only a simple remminiscence of the singer's past, but it evokes such a deep emotion within me I couldn't simply describe. Karen Carpenter doesn't have an eight pitch voice, or a sweet, feminine voice, but for some reason, her voice touched me like no others had. Another song of hers, Close to You, has also a similar effect on me. I never really did know who sung the song until today, but now that I knew, I think I'll remember her name forever.
